THE ZANU PF leadership in Masvingo province has thanked the people of Gutu West constituency for showing confidence in ZANU PF by voting for Cde John Paradza in the just-ended by-election.

The people of Gutu West are excited about the re-election of Cde John Paradza of the ZANU PF party and are looking forward to the continuous implementation of developmental projects in the constituency.

“We are awaiting the election results. The process went on smoothly and we were able to vote for our preferred candidate whom we believe will continue spearheading development in our area,” said a Gutu voter.

Another said, “Cde Paradza has been doing a lot of programmes in our area through the ZANU PF party and we are happy that our preferred candidate is development-oriented.”

Cde Paradza thanked the people of Gutu West for showing confidence in him and promised to fully implement the government’s developmental projects.

“Let me take this opportunity to thank the people of Gutu West for showing confidence in me. I want to assure them that we will continue developing our area in support of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vision 2030,” he said.

The ZANU PF leadership in Masvingo also thanked the Gutu West constituency for voting in peace.

“We witnessed a peaceful election in Gutu West and people showed confidence in the ZANU Pf party led by President Mnangagwa. Congratulations to the people of Gutu West, now it’s time we work on fulfilling all the promises we made to our people,” said Masvingo ZANU PF provincial chairman, Cde Robson Mavhenyengwa.

Cde John Paradza garnered 12 147 votes against Ephraem Morudu of CCC who got 1 258, Independent Candidate Mudzingwa Sebastion with 1 775 and Robson Kurwa of the NCA who got 138 votes.
