ZIMBABWE’S premier bowler Blessing Muzarabani has been signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore to play in cricket’s most lucrative tournament, the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The lanky Muzarabani has replaced South African Lungi Ngidi who has left due to national team commitments.

The Highfield-born star will join his new teammates after the conclusion of Zimbabwe’s one-off test match against England on May 26, in time for the play-offs.

This is not the first time that Muzarabani has been to the IPL, but he has never played a match as two seasons ago, he was signed as a net baller at Lucknow Super Giants.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are coached by legendary former Chevrons batsman Andy Flower.

Brendan Taylor and Sikander Raza are some of the few Chevrons players to have played in the IPL.
