SPECIAL Investment Advisor to the President, Dr Paul Tungwarara has rallied Zimbabweans to embrace developmental opportunities being availed by the Second Republic, amid increased investments in the country.

Dr Tungwarara made the remarks in Chinhoyi this Wednesday at the funeral of Reverend Innocent Chitanda of the Apostolic Faith Mission of Zimbabwe (AFMOZ), a member of Pastors4ED, who collapsed and died on Friday last week.

Dr Tungwarara also highlighted President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s achievements, saying he has since 2017 focused on economic reforms, engagement and re-engagement with other countries, infrastructure development and reviving the local industry.

Pastors4ED founding chairperson, Prophetess Idirashe Dongo, urged church members to continue supporting national leaders and to pray for peace and development.

AFMOZ president, Dr Cossum Chiyangwa, also underscored the need for continued collaboration between the church and government as the country journeys towards attaining an upper-middle-income society status by 2030.
