EXPO 2025 Osaka has officially commenced in Kansai, Japan, bringing together over 150 countries under the theme, “Designing Future Societies for Our Lives.”
Zimbabwe is participating under the theme “Beyond the Limits,” with a pavilion dedicated to promoting investment, trade, and tourism. The country aims to attract at least three million of the 28 million visitors expected over the six-month event.
Zimbabwe Pavilion Commissioner General, Mr Allan Majuru, noted that tourism and culture are being used as tools to engage the Japanese market and reshape global perceptions of Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Japan, His Excellency Stewart Nyakotyo, said the Expo provides a platform to connect with the world and showcase Zimbabwe’s economic, educational, and cultural strengths.
