FORMER Young Warriors coach Simon Marange is closing in on promotion to the Betway Premiership with Kruger United.
The log leaders in the Motsepe Foundation Championship take on second-placed Cape Town City today, with victory set to open an eight-point lead with four matches to play.
Marange, a former Orlando Pirates development coach, is an assistant to Abram Mongoya, with former Zimbabwe international Douglas Mapfumo part of the squad.
