GOKWE Chitekete Growth Point came alive on Saturday as the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) Radio Services wrapped up its 2025 Mega Tour, marking the end of a nationwide campaign that celebrated local talent and strengthened community engagement.

The fully subscribed event drew huge crowds, as locals enjoyed thrilling performances and interacted with their favourite radio personalities.

The tour provided a unique opportunity for listeners to connect directly with the voices they hear daily on the airwaves

“We are so happy that we have had this opportunity to interact and get to see in person the people we only hear on radio,” said a listener.

The ZBC Radio Mega Tour has been hailed as a huge success, growing in popularity and scale with every edition as explained by Director ZBC Radio Services, Mr Albert Chekayi.

“We have come to the end of an exciting tour, and we would like to thank all those who partnered with us. Now it’s time to go back to the drawing board, review our progress, and come back even stronger next year. When we started these tours last year, we covered the southern part of the country, and now we’ve reached the northern region,” he said.

The 2025 ZBC Radio Mega Tour began on November 1, in Southlea Park, Harare, before making stops in Mutoko, Kotwa, Mhondoro, and Chegutu, culminating in Chitekete.

Plans are already underway for next year’s edition, which will once again feature Radio Zimbabwe, National FM, Power FM, Classic 263, Khulumani FM, and Central Radio continuing ZBC’s mission to bring the nation together through sound, music, and entertainment.
