THE Gwanda community has been left reeling in shock following the discovery of a man’s body at Phakama Business Centre in the early hours of Saturday morning, in what is being treated as a suspected murder case.
According to eyewitnesses, the deceased was allegedly involved in a violent altercation with a commercial sex worker who was in the company of her boyfriend.
“I was in the bar and came out here to relieve myself and I found people attacking this man, and one of the ladies took a knife from another man who was there and stabbed him and I tried to intervene but he was already dead at the time,” an eye witness said.
It is alleged the ‘boyfriend’ gave the accused a Colombian Knife which was used to stab the now deceased.
It is said that upon realising that she had killed the now deceased, she ran to the police, complaining that she had been attacked.
Police are yet to confirm the incident.
