NAMIBIA – SPECIAL Olympics have been included in the African Union Sports Council Region Five Youth Games for the first time, after taking part alongside other mainstream disciplines at the regional meet currently underway in Namibia.
The discipline is sport for people with intellectual disabilities and this is the first time ever in all African regional competitions that they have been included in the Youth Games.
