Second Republic’s inclusive development benefits all

YOUTHS in Mashonaland West Province are reaping the rewards of the Second Republic’s policy of leaving no one and no place behind, as they continue to take an active role in the country’s development agenda.

ZANU PF Youth League members from Mashonaland West gathered in Selous this Sunday to receive feedback on resolutions from the National People’s Conference and develop strategic initiatives for the province.

At the centre of the discussions was the Munhumutapa Youth Housing Scheme, a programme already benefiting several young people.

“As leadership, we came to disclose and discuss the National Conference resolutions with our members. We presented our concerns as the Youth League, and I am delighted to report that these issues are being attended to. The Second Republic has allocated land and residential stands to the youths, provided heifer cattle under the pass-on scheme, tractors, and other resources which are directly benefiting young people,” said ZANU PF Mashonaland West Provincial Youth League Chairperson, Cde Tapiwa Masenda.

Participants noted that the Second Republic’s youth-focused programmes, ranging from housing to skills development, are providing practical opportunities to transform their lives.

“We want to thank the Second Republic for ensuring that development is inclusive. These initiatives show commitment to empowering every young person, and we are ready to contribute to national development,” said beneficiary, Bertha Taringwa.

“We are witnessing real empowerment for the youths. This is encouraging and clearly shows that the Second Republic means business when President Dr Mnangagwa says Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo. We are being empowered, and this fulfils the mantra of leaving no one and no place behind,” added another beneficiary.

Zvimba East Legislator, Honourable Decide Manhanzva, said the government’s initiatives continue to empower young people across the country.

“The Second Republic’s youth empowerment programmes are benefiting young people nationwide, creating real opportunities in skills development, innovation and entrepreneurship. These initiatives align fully with Vision 2030 because they equip young people to play a meaningful role in national development,” he said.

From vocational training and revolving funds for empowerment projects to housing schemes, youths remain at the centre of the development matrix.
