IN a shocking turn of events, Premier Soccer League (PSL) clubs have voted against relegation for the current season, paving the way for a smooth transition to a 20-team league in line with international standards.
This decision means that teams like Yadah, Greenfuel, Triangle, Manica Diamonds, Dynamos, Highlanders, and Bikita Minerals might just catch a reprieve, despite their current standings.
Kwekwe United, who were confirmed relegated two months ago, will also get a chance to play again in the top flight
With four teams already promoted from the regions, the PSL will welcome 22 teams in the 2026 season.
However, six teams will face relegation at the end of the term.
