PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has been presented with the new Warriors jersey that Zimbabwe will wear at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, as preparations for the continental showpiece intensify.
ZIFA president Nqobile Magwizi handed over the kit to the Head of State ahead of the team’s departure for the tournament, symbolising official backing for the national side’s AFCON campaign.
The presentation follows last week’s release of US$400 000 by President Mnangagwa to support the Warriors’ preparations, covering key logistical and technical requirements as Zimbabwe readies for Africa’s biggest football stage.
The Warriors are expected to depart for Morocco in the coming days, with final squad preparations entering a decisive phase as the team targets a competitive showing at AFCON.
