HARARE – PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa is hosting a reunion for his former University of Zambia Law School classmates from the 1970s, with the event currently underway at State House in Harare.

The President studied law in Zambia soon after serving his jail time in Zimbabwe for his political involvement in the liberation struggle.

The event allows President Mnangagwa to reunite with old-time colleagues as they reminisce about their days at the University of Zambia.

Cabinet Ministers, ZANU PF Politburo members, Zimbabwe’s envoy to Zambia Ambassador Charity Charamba and senior government officials, are also in attendance.

The University of Zambia Law Class of 1975 had 53 students, most of whom are now deceased.
