President Emmerson Mnangagwa is this Sunday expected to join thousands of congregants from various denominations for the 8th annual Zimbabwe National Thanksgiving and Dedication Service at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair in Bulawayo.
The service is being held under the theme “Our Country, Our Opportunity” and underscores commitment by the church as a religious institution to promote national unity, peace and development.
The 8th annual national thanksgiving and dedication service is celebrating the progress made this year and acknowledging the potential of Zimbabwe as it seeks to achieve vision 2030.
Government and the church share a strong relationship which has historically been characterized by mutual support and collaboration on various social and development initiatives.
