SOCIALITE Olinda Chapel appeared before the Harare Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday facing allegations of cyber-bullying and harassment.
According to State papers, Chapel is accused of making offensive and threatening remarks during a Facebook live broadcast on December 17.
The State alleges that during the broadcast, Chapel insulted another woman, Dyonne Tafirenyika, referring to her as a “prostitute” and threatening to “deal with her”.
Prosecutors contend that the remarks were intended to instil fear, cause emotional distress and publicly humiliate.
