MULTI-award winning gospel musician, Everton Mlalazi, has released a new worship album, marking the start of 2026 with the third instalment of his widely followed In The Presence series.

The album, which is now officially available, continues Mlalazi’s focus on producing spiritually enriching music aimed at both personal devotion and congregational worship.

Its release follows the rollout of two lead singles, Angeke Kulunge in November and Mweya Mutsvene in December 2025, which helped build anticipation for the full project.

Comprising 14 tracks, the album is designed to deliver an immersive worship experience, blending reflective moments with congregational praise suited for church settings.

The project features collaborations with prominent African gospel artists, including Nigerian gospel singer Moses Bliss on the title track Great God, Takesure Zama on Zuva Rangu, and the Harare MUMC Choir Vabvuwi, whose harmonies add depth to the collection.

Mlalazi, who holds a doctorate in music and is the founder of EM Music, is known for his carefully crafted worship compositions that have earned him wide acclaim within and beyond Zimbabwe.

His musical journey has previously included collaborations with internationally recognised groups such as Ladysmith Black Mambazo, as well as local gospel star Janet Manyowa.

The album explores themes of holiness, God’s power, thanksgiving and intimate faith, positioning it as a key worship offering for the year. Other notable tracks include Muri Mutsvene featuring Oncemore Six, Ngaavongwe and Igazi Lemvana.
