THE Miss Universe Organisation has unveiled the new crown for the 73rd Miss Universe Pageant to be bestowed upon the winner of the contest.
The beauty queens from around the globe participating at the 73rd Miss Universe acquainted themselves with the coveted crown at the Crown unveiling ceremony held in Mexico City this Thursday.
Dubbed the ‘light of infinity’, the crown is endowed with the golden south sea pearl known as the national gem of the Philippines.
The 130 contestants had a chance to catch a glimpse of the crown adorned with the exquisite gemstone that has been cherished for centuries.
Meanwhile, voting is still open for people to vote for their candidate and Zimbabweans are encouraged to participate in the voting process for the Zimbabwean Queen, Sakhile Dube to get an automatic ticket for the semi-finals.
