Log leaders, Simba Bhora have another chance to strengthen their grip at the top of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League table when they host basement club Chegutu Pirates at Wadzanai Stadium this Wednesday.
It is top-versus-bottom, as Simba Bhora host Chegutu Pirates at Wadzanayi Stadium in Shamva with the two sides separated by a whopping 33 points.
Simba Bhora boast 16 wins and five draws from 26 matches, while Chegutu Pirates have managed just four wins and eight draws from the same number of matches.
Simba Bhora’s impressive form, with four wins and a draw in their last five outings, including an unbeaten home record, makes them clear favourites against a side they beat 2-1 in the reverse fixture.
With 20 points, Chegutu Pirates face relegation if they do not start picking up points from their remaining eight games.
