LADY Chevrons opener Kelis Ndhlovu has been ruled out of the third and final One-Day International against New Zealand after suffering a concussion during the second match in Dunedin.
The 20-year-old was struck on the head while attempting to duck a bouncer.
She briefly lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital, where scans confirmed there was no skull fracture.
Ndhlovu has since been discharged and remains under medical observation.
Zimbabwe have already lost the series and will face New Zealand in the final ODI this Wednesday.
The tour marks Zimbabwe’s debut in the ICC Women’s Championship, the qualification pathway to the ICC Women’s CricketA World Cup.
