Infrastructure and organisation underpin ZANU PF Mat North progress in 2025

ZANU PF’s Matabeleland North province says 2025 has been a year of organisational consolidation and infrastructural progress, marked by the completion of its provincial headquarters in Lupane and the strengthening of party structures across the province.

Provincial chairperson Cde Richard Moyo said the party successfully completed verification of all cell structures within stipulated timelines, reinforcing internal cohesion and readiness ahead of future electoral cycles.

“We completed the verification of our structures, we also had council by-elections, which we all won as ZANU PF. As a party, we are very happy with what we achieved,” he said.

A major highlight of the year was the completion of the provincial headquarters complex, a project that began in 2018 through contributions from party members and support from well-wishers.

Cde Moyo said the project gained momentum this year following financial support from the party’s national leadership.

“We started building our office in 2018, and we would contribute and also use money from well-wishers, until this year when the president gave us money as national chairpersons. We then used our allocation to complete our offices, and we want to thank him for that gift,” Cde Moyo said.

With key infrastructure now in place, the provincial leadership says attention is shifting towards the implementation of empowerment and development initiatives aligned with the party’s broader socio-economic agenda.
