Caps United extends support to Mbembesi crash victims’ families

HARARE giants Caps United have extended a helping hand to the families of the four victims who lost their lives in the Mbembesi road traffic accident.

Representing club president Mr Farai Jere, Caps United Board Operations Director Mr Maxwell Mironga described the tragedy as a huge loss to the football fraternity.

As part of the club’s support, Caps United donated US$500 to each of the four bereaved families.

Meanwhile, a combined memorial service for the four victims will be held at Barbourfields Stadium this Monday.

Following the memorial service, Vice Chairperson Mr Fiso Siziba and Treasurer Mr Nkani Khoza will be laid to rest at Lady Stanley Cemetery, while Chairman Colonel Kenneth Mhlophe will be buried on Tuesday.

The fourth victim, Mbalenhle Sibanda, will also be laid to rest in Filabusi on Tuesday.
