THE Ministry of Health and Child Care in collaboration with development partners is on a three-day infodemic management workshop which kicked off in Kadoma this Wednesday.
The engagement has brought together renowned health experts and members of the media to deliberate on various issues including pandemic management, misinformation control and resilience building.
The timely initiative comes at a time when the world grapples with multiple pandemics, including cholera and the recent Mpox outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The workshop seeks to come up with effective strategies to manage pandemics, mitigate the spread of misinformation through media channels and strengthen resilience in the face of global health crises.
