THE High Court of Zimbabwe has dismissed an application filed by lawyer and political activist Fadzai Mahere against Cabinet Minister Honourable Tino Machakaire, ruling that the matter had been improperly placed before the court.
In a judgment delivered recently, a High Court Judge struck the application off the roll after finding that it had been filed irregularly.
Mahere had instituted the proceedings alleging defamation and contempt of court, arising from statements in which Honourable Machakaire reportedly levelled corruption allegations against her.
