HERENTALS Queens have clinched their fourth consecutive championship in the Women’s Premier Soccer League after a convincing 2-0 victory over Cranborne Royals at 2 Brigade this Saturday.

Coach Simbarashe Deedza has guided Herentals Queens to an unprecedented fourth straight title, cementing their dominance in local women’s football.

Natasha Benza, who scored her 14th goal of the season, gave the Lady Students an early lead before halftime.

Praynance Zwawanda doubled the advantage in the 48th minute, sealing another memorable triumph for the champions.

Coach Simbarashe Deedza reflected on the team’s success.

“Our goal was to defend the title, and we have successfully done that. The competition was fiercely competitive, but our players showed great character and determination to come out on top,” he said.

Herentals Queens finished the season with an impressive record 23 wins, two draws, and only two losses accumulating a total of 71 points.

With two fixtures remaining against Platinum Royals and Black Rhinos Queens, the champions aim to wrap up the season in style.

Herentals’ victory not only solidified their dominance in the women’s league but also allowed them to match Black Rhinos Queens’ record of four league titles.

Moreover, Herentals made history by becoming the first team to achieve the feat of winning the championship in four consecutive seasons.

This remarkable achievement cements Herentals’ place as one of the most successful teams in the league’s history.
