FC Platinum target TelOne as the Chibuku Super Cup First Round kicks off

The Chibuku Super Cup First Round kicks off this weekend, with several exciting matches lined up.

FC Platinum face Telone this Saturday in a Midlands derby.

Going into this encounter, the two sides have previously met three times, and TelOne have the bragging rights after managing to win once while the two games ended in draws

Knowing the dangers TelOne can pose, FC Platinum Coach, Norman Mapeza is approaching the game with caution.

“We play to have a silverware in our cabinet and it is also important that we play for honours this season. We will give the Chibuku Super Cup the same energy that we have given to our quest to have the league title,” he said.

In other matches set for Saturday, Simba Bhora taking on Herentals at Wadzanayi Stadium, while Chicken Inn clash with Yadah Stars at Luveve Stadium.

On Sunday, Manica Diamonds battle Chegutu Pirates at Sakubva Stadium and Highlanders welcome Greenfuel at Barbourfields Stadium.
