LOCAL and international exhibitors have confirmed crucial business leads generated at this year’s Zimbabwe’s Agricultural Show which concluded in Harare this Saturday.
Discussing outcomes of the day, these exhibitors are in a thorough engagement to assess the flow of traffic on their stand at this year’s edition of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show.
The past five days have been busy and the business generated has been impressive, with critical leads developed to unlock opportunities for locals abroad.
“As the republic of Ireland we have several scholarships that were highlighted and this will help to extend relations between our two countries, but we also are looking at extending this relationship to areas of agriculture and this is something that we highlighted as we exhibited at this show,” said the programme manager for the Embassy of Ireland, Mr Dumisile Msimanga.
The prestigious exhibition presented the right tonic for business executives to showcase their products, with an impressive uptake of exhibitor space recorded this year which went up by over 5000 square metres to 74 000 square meters this time around.
“We are impressed by the level of participation at this year’s show as we managed to increase uptake of space. We also had quite a good number of foreign exhibitors coming through but mostly we are impressed with those who always return to exhibit such as UNISA from South Africa and companies from Malawi,” said the head of
programmes and public affairs for the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society, Mr Tavonga Miriyoni.
The Zimbabwe Agricultural Society executives say the show is a critical pedestal for local companies to extend their footprint and build relations both on the domestic and international fora.
