ZIMBABWE Cricket has made three changes to the Chevrons squad for the three-match T20 International series against India.
All-rounder Wessly Madhevere, wicketkeeper-batter Tafadzwa Tsiga and fast bowler Newman Nyamhuri have been recalled to the 15-man squad.
Madhevere returns to the national set-up, while Tsiga has earned his maiden T20 International call-up following impressive performances in domestic cricket.
Nyamhuri is back after recovering from the injury that ruled him out of the recent T20 International series against Bangladesh.
The trio replace Clive Madande, Tinotenda Maposa and Tashinga Musekiwa.
Captain Sikandar Raza will lead the Chevrons as they seek to bounce back from their 2-1 T20 series defeat to Bangladesh and make a strong statement against the reigning ICC Men’s T20 World Cup champions.
The three-match series gets underway at Harare Sports Club on Thursday, with the remaining two fixtures scheduled for the weekend.
