Unbeaten CAPS United, Hardrock clash headlines Match Day Four

HARARE giants CAPS United face a defining early-season test as they host ambitious newcomers Hardrock FC, who remain unbeaten and intent on challenging the established order.

CAPS United have set the pace this season, winning their opening three matches and underlining their title credentials. Under the guidance of Takesure Chiragwi, Makepekepe are steadily reasserting their standing in domestic football.

Their resurgence, however, will be measured against a confident Hardrock side from Kwekwe, with Saturday’s encounter offering more than just points, but early bragging rights.

Elsewhere, winless Highlanders FC travel to Shamva to face former champions Simba Bhora.

Chicken Inn FC, smarting from defeat, host Ngezi Platinum Stars at Barbourfields Stadium.

A Midlands derby sees FC Platinum take on TelOne FC at Mandava Stadium.

On Sunday, MWOS FC chase their first points against Bulawayo Chiefs at Ngoni Stadium.

Defending champions Scottland FC host FC Hunters at Rufaro, while an in-form Dynamos FC face struggling Agama FC at Wadzanayi Stadium in Shamva.

ZPC Kariba meet Manica Diamonds at Nyamhunga.

Match Day Four concludes on Monday with Herentals FC taking on Triangle United at Rufaro, before the league pauses for the FIFA international break.
