MT HAMPDEN – Child President, His Excellency Lionel Mazarire has acknowledged the government’s efforts in enhancing children’s rights across the country.
He made this statement when delivering his State of the Nation Address during the 33rd Session of the Junior Parliament in Mt Hampden this Friday afternoon.
The Child President said the Second Republic has created a conducive environment for children’s voices to be heard, allowing them to voice out their concerns while also proffering solutions to the problems.
The junior parliament aims to involve children in policy-making processes and advocate for child-friendly legislation, ensuring that every child in Zimbabwe has a voice.
