PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has joined the world in mourning former President of Zambia, His Excellency Edgar Lungu, who died in South Africa this Thursday.
In a statement, President Mnangagwa said Zimbabwe fondly remembers Mr Lungu as a dedicated servant of the people and an astute leader, who served his people with utmost distinction, humility and honour.
He said the late President worked closely with his colleagues in the SADC region, Africa and beyond, while also strengthening the excellent relations between Zimbabwe and Zambia, which are based on shared mutual benefits.
