THE Zimbabwe Rugby Union (ZRU) has appointed Nsikelelo Sibanda as the new head coach for the national women’s rugby team, the Lady Sables.
In a statement, ZRU’s Chief Executive Officer Sifiso Made said Sibanda takes over from Lissy Wasarirevu, whose contract expired last month.
Sibanda holds World Rugby Level 3 coaching credentials and has served as a World Rugby Match Commissioner.
In addition to his coaching expertise, Sibanda has a strong background in sports administration.
He has served as Director of Rugby and Board Member at the ZRU and is currently a Board Member of Harare Province Rugby.
