Zimbabwe’s opening T20 match against Ireland was declared a no result after being abandoned due to rain at Harare Sports Club after just nine overs.
The Chevrons were on the crease and in a spot of bother at 77 for 5 with Ryan Burl doing the repair job on 36.
The match was disturbed by the rain from the onset forcing a delayed start only nine overs were possible before the rain had the final say.
The two teams are back again at Harare Sports Club this Sunday for the second T20 international.
