THE Zimbabwe senior football team, the Warriors put up a brave performance to draw 1-all against Nigeria in a 2026 World Cup qualifier played in Uyo Tuesday.
Victor Osimhen broke the deadlock for the Super Eagles in the 74th minute but a brilliant Tawanda Chirewa strike ensured a point for the Warriors.
Zimbabwe now have four points at the bottom of the table, while Nigeria now have seven points, six points behind log leaders South Africa who have 13 points.
Second is Rwanda with eight points, and Benin on fourth position with the same number of points as Rwanda.
