THE Zimbabwe men’s football team the Warriors have been drawn in Group B for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), alongside seven-time champions Egypt, neighbours South Africa, and Southern Africa rivals Angola.
The draw, held in Rabat, Morocco, this Monday has pitted the Warriors against one of the continent’s heavyweights.
Egypt, with their rich football history, will be a formidable opponent, while South Africa and Angola will also pose significant challenges.
The AFCON 2025 tournament is scheduled to take place from the 21st of December to the 18th of January 2026 in Morocco.
