Veteran ZBC radio presenter Andrew Kiposa who died at Marondera Provincial Hospital this Tuesday has been described as a loving family man who had time for his children despite his demanding schedule.
Kiposa was working as a producer/presenter at ZBC’s Classic263 radio station.
Kiposa was also into music and once served as a ZBC cameraperson in Mashonaland East province.
His wife, Mrs Balaka Kiposa described him as a man who was committed to his family despite his demanding job as a broadcaster and musician.
“Andrew loved his children and garden and spent all his spare time with his family,” she said.
Colleagues spoke glowing about his legacy.
“Andrew was a broadcaster par excellence who was passionate about broadcasting,” said a fellow broadcaster, Jackson Madzimba.
A colleague, Fadzai Maphosa said, “We worked with Andrew when he was a cameraperson in Mashonaland East and he was such a nice character.”
Mourners are gathered at his Balaka Farm, 15 kilometres outside Marondera town, along Bridge Road.
Burial is expected on Friday.
He is survived by his wife Balaka and six children.
