THREE Zimbabwe Power Company(ZPC) Hwange employees have been arraigned before the courts for allegedly using fake qualifications to get employment from the power utility some 10 years ago.
Allegations leveled against the trio are that using fake documents purportedly issued by the then Ministry of Manpower Development, the accused persons were employed by the Zimbabwe Power Company as riggers and enjoyed employment benefits for 10 years.
Anthony Mukarati, Lloyd Tichafa Mutyanda, and Posent Ngwenya, all residents of Hwange, were found in possession of the forged Class One Rigging Certificates.
The state also argues that the three are the ones who produced fake qualification papers to the power utility company at the time they sought employment.
The state further alleges that during the period, the three prejudiced ZESA of over US$65 000 in earnings.
