A two-week Civil Military Relations (CMR) Civic Education Annual Seminar has begun in Mutare, bringing together staff from five of Zimbabwe’s security services.
Participants are drawn from the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA), the Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ), the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS), the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) and the President’s Department.
The seminar aims to harmonise Civil Military Relations training and develop coordinated strategies for implementing civic education programmes across the security services.
The programme is being held under the theme, “Defending Zimbabwe’s Liberation Heritage and Promoting Peace in Line with the National Vision.”
