Ruling ZANU PF leads charge against hunger in Zimbabwe

The ZANU PF-led government has made significant strides in ensuring national food security despite the adverse effects of the El Nino induced drought.

This was confirmed by the party’s Secretary for Information and Publicity, Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa during a media briefing in Harare this Tuesday.

Ambassador Mutsvangwa gave credit to government and its partners for a successful year across all sectors.

Briefing journalists at the party’s headquarters in Harare this Tuesday, Ambassador Mutsvangwa extoled President Emmerson Mnangagwa for ensuring food security in the country despite the El Nino-induced drought.

“ZANU PF has lived to its billing in terms of food distribution, ensuring that no one dies of hunger. Kudos to President Emmerson Mnangagwa, the business community and other stakeholders for delivering food to the people of Zimbabwe. We haven’t seen pictures of people struggling and this alone we give thanks to the Second Republic leadership,” he said.

He also disclosed that ZANU PF’s party structures are actively promoting Vision 2030 under the able leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa, whom he described as a man of action in driving progress.

“Our President has been opening huge projects across the country which are impactful on the people’s lives. This is why at the Bulawayo Annual People’s Conference they said he must continue in power is because he is a doer; organs, provinces and people in general are confident he can do more,” he said.

Ambassador Mutsvangwa further expressed confidence that the party’s structures will continue to be strengthened ,adding that more infrastructure development projects will be rolled out in the coming year.
