Rising star basks in ‘One by One,’ success

TALENTED singer, Julian King is basking in a wave of success after his song ‘ONE BY ONE” dominated charts on most radio stations in the country.
In what can be viewed as a record for 2023 in the music circles, Julian King’s collaborative effort, ‘One by One,’ featuring Saintfloew ruled the roost on both Power FM and Star FM charts, was third on ZBC TV Top 50, 11th on the Radio Zimbabwe top 50 and 29TH on National FM chart.
The United States-based singer, who has been in the industry for a few years, might have struck the right chord on the song which made it on all ZBC stations’ charts and is thankful to fans who supported his journey.
The artist, Julian King said, “I just want to say thank you to the fans for voting for me. It means everything to me and my career. I am so overwhelmed and grateful and I will continue to give back through music.”
After churning out songs including ‘Muchazvirega’ and ‘Irwendo’ and ‘other gospel pieces,’ more than two years ago, Julian King is ready to ride on the success of the hit song to take his music international.
He added several songs are in stock and fans should look forward to new hits this year.
“In the year 2024, there is so much lined up. I think I have so many hit songs and collaborations coming. This year we are looking forward to growing into other markets. We want to be able to compete on an international stage. That is my goal for this year and with your support I am pretty sure now we can achieve that,” he added.
‘One by One,’ which was released in May last year took the music industry by storm and became a hit that cut across all platforms and has more than 4.4 million views on YouTube to date.
