Professor Mthuli Ncube presents local investment opportunities at the World Economic Forum

The 2025 edition of the World Economic Forum Annual Meetings started in Davos, Switzerland this Monday with Zimbabwe participating at the global event to attract foreign capital into the country.

The event running under the theme: ‘Collaboration for the Intelligent Age,’ started this Monday in Switzerland.

Zimbabwe’s Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, Professor Mthuli Ncube is heading Zimbabwe’s delegation at these annual meetings; seeking to leverage on one of the thematic priorities dubbed: ‘Industries under the intelligent age.’

With Zimbabwe’s vast endowments of lithium reserves known as transition minerals under the global energy transformation, Professor Ncube is expected to lay out opportunities in the local mining sector, which over the years has witnessed massive foreign capital inflows culminating into the establishment of several new mining houses.

As world leaders and executives from leading global firms gather in Davos, Zimbabwe stands to benefit from a set of deliberations and discussions over the next five days, aimed at harnessing collaborations in the modern age that is seeing rapid transformation in the world of business.
