PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa is expected to arrive in Japan this Monday, where he is scheduled to attend the Zimbabwe National Day at the ongoing Osaka Expo 2025.

Per tradition at the World Expo, each country is allocated a National Day where it pitches its opportunities to the world.

Speaking from Osaka, Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Japan, Stewart Nyakotyo, said President Mnangagwa will spearhead the country’s efforts to showcase the investment opportunities available in tourism, mining, and agriculture, among other sectors.

The Zimbabwe National Day will be held this Wednesday, and in addition to President Mnangagwa’s address, various groups have been lined up to showcase the country’s culture and tradition.

President Mnangagwa will also attend a business forum set for this Tuesday, where organisations, including ZIDA, will make presentations on the ease of doing business in Zimbabwe.

Over 200 business people are expected to attend the event.
