PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has congratulated Donald Trump for winning the 2024 United States elections.
In a message on his social media platforms, President Mnangagwa said Zimbabwe stands ready to work with Mr Trump and the United States for a better world.
After winning the swing state of Wisconsin today, projections showed that the US politician garnered 276 electoral college votes, more than the 270 needed to win the overall race.
As a result, Mr Trump will re-enter the White House as America’s 47th President.
The former President, Mr Trump, addressed supporters in Florida in the early hours of Wednesday, thanking the American people for their support.
He pledged to fix America and usher in what he called the ‘Golden age of America’.
