President Emmerson Mnangagwa has sent a congratulatory message to President Lukashenko of Belarus on his 70th birthday.
“My dear brother, comrade and colleague, I joyously convey my best wishes to you for even greater health and longer life,” he said.
President Mnangagwa reflected on the impressive journey of President Lukashenko, particularly how the President has managed to balance the weighty responsibilities of leadership while still showing concern for friends and allies worldwide.
The message highlighted the impactful contributions of Belarus to Zimbabwe, especially in critical sectors.
“The few years I have been at the helm of my nation, I have witnessed destiny-changing interventions by your Government, principally in the areas of Zimbabwe’s agriculture, mining and health,” he added.
As the people of Belarus joined in the celebrations, President Mnangagwa’s message captured the spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect.
“As the entire nation of Belarus joins you in celebrating this milestone, always remain assured, my brother and dear friend, of my highest consideration and deep friendship for all times,” said President Mnangagwa.
