VICE President General (Rtd) Dr Constantino Chiwenga has extended warm congratulations to President Emmerson Mnangagwa ahead of his 83rd birthday this Monday, commending his unwavering commitment to Zimbabwe’s progress and prosperity.

“On this momentous occasion of your birthday, allow me, Your Excellency, to celebrate your leadership and unwavering commitment to the prosperity of our beloved country,” Vice President Chiwenga said.
Under the stewardship of President Mnangagwa, Zimbabwe has recorded notable achievements across key sectors including economic development, infrastructure, and social transformation.
The implementation of the National Development Strategy 1 (NDS1) has been highlighted as a critical framework that has laid the groundwork for sustainable and inclusive livelihoods throughout the nation.
The Vice President further acknowledged President Mnangagwa’s significant strides in advancing Zimbabwe’s foreign economic diplomacy.
“Your major milestones in foreign economic diplomacy can never go unnoticed, as Zimbabwe has firmly stood on the global stage, through partnerships that continue to advance our national developmental thrust.”
As Zimbabwe continues to emerge with resilience, pride, and unity, Vice President Chiwenga also paid tribute to President Mnangagwa’s recently concluded tenure as Chairperson of SADC, a role in which he was lauded for exemplary regional leadership.
