THE Constitutional Amendment No. 3 Bill is set to come before Parliament on Tuesday, with ZANU PF Politburo Member and Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi, dismissing speculation over the voting process and reiterating that the proposed legislation will not be subjected to a secret ballot.

Speaking during the ZANU PF Mashonaland West Provincial Coordinating Committee meeting held at Chinhoyi University of Technology this Saturday, Cde Ziyambi said parliamentary procedures governing the consideration of the Bill are clear, constitutional and transparent.

“There will be no secret ballot on Constitutional Amendment Number Three Bill. Members of Parliament will debate and vote in accordance with established parliamentary procedures and the Constitution.”

Cde Ziyambi also highlighted the Government’s title deeds programme, describing it as a transformative initiative aimed at empowering citizens through secure property ownership and broadening economic participation.

“The title deeds programme is designed to ensure that beneficiaries have legal ownership of their properties, unlocking economic opportunities and creating wealth for families and communities.”

Meanwhile, ZANU PF Mashonaland West Provincial Chairperson, Cde Mary Mliswa-Chikoka, said preparations for the party’s annual conference are progressing well, with the province on course to meet its targets.

“Preparations for the conference are progressing well and we have set August as our deadline for all logistical preparations. Our structures are fully mobilised and we are confident that Mashonaland West will successfully play its role in hosting a memorable national event.”

The meeting also received an update from Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE) on plans to expand its Kadoma Centre into a fully-fledged campus.

“Our vision is to transform the Kadoma Centre into a fully-fledged campus that will serve the educational needs of the region while promoting research, innovation and industrialisation,” BUSE Pro Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Administration, Professor Christmas Denhere, said.

Party members were urged to remain united and uphold the principles of discipline, hard work and dedication to service as ZANU PF continues implementing programmes aimed at driving national development.
