THE National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is ramping up efforts to strengthen its workforce and enhance service delivery, with prosecutors in Mashonaland Central Province already reaping the benefits of these initiatives.
As part of its latest efforts to improve employee welfare, the NPA has provided a new staff bus to the Bindura Magistrates Court to address longstanding transport challenges faced by prosecutors.
“The bus will greatly alleviate transport challenges. It will boost efficiency as prosecutors report for duty on time and with ease. It is also important to note that this provision is part of a great and broader capacity building initiative,” NPA Mashonaland Central Province Spokesperson, Mr Carson Kundiwona said.
In line with digital transformation efforts, Mashonaland Central Province will adopt the roll out of the Electronic Case Management System (ICMS) scheduled for May 2, with all prosecutors being equipped with new laptops uploaded with law libraries.
The system is set to improve efficiency in case management.
