FORMER Warriors captain, Knowledge Musona, has signed for Castle Lager Premier Soccer League newcomers, Scottland Football Club.
Affectionately known as The Smiling Assassin, Musona was officially unveiled this Monday afternoon at Rufaro Stadium, where Scottland hosted Yadah in a league encounter.
The 34-year-old forward joins the Mabvuku-based side for the remainder of the season following his departure from Saudi Arabian outfit, Al Okhdood.
The signing of Musona marks a significant coup for Scottland, who continue to show serious intent in their maiden top-flight campaign.
The club has already bolstered its squad during the mid-season transfer window with the acquisitions of Warriors forward Terrence Dzvukamanja from South Africa’s SuperSport United, Namibian international Moses Shidolo, and Malawian striker Khuda Muyaba.
Musona, a veteran of Zimbabwean football with a career spanning over a decade in South Africa, Belgium, and the Middle East, is expected to bring invaluable experience and leadership to the squad as they push to cement their place in the top division.
