ZIMBABWE’S representatives in the CAF Girls Integrated Football Tournament (GIFT), Mpopoma Sports Academy (MPOSA), kicked off their campaign in style after thrashing Otjiwarongo of Namibia 12–0 at Ngoni Stadium in Norton this Monday.
MPOSA stamped their authority on home soil, scoring five goals in the first half, with Alicia Chinyoka and Chiedza Khumalo taking turns to find the back of the net.
Khumalo, who was voted Player of the Match, scored four goals, while Tatenda Gambiza, Ntokozo Mpofu, Lindah Rakabopa and Rejoice Chamunorwa were also on the scoresheet.
