Mbudzi traffic interchange leads charge in road development projects

GOVERNMENT has adopted a deliberate approach in revamping the country’s road infrastructure so as to realise aspirations of Vision 2030.

In a significant stride towards achieving the ambitious Vision 2030 initiative, several road infrastructure development projects are underway including the Mbudzi traffic interchange.

Residents believe the project and many others are a key enabler in fostering economic growth, enhancing connectivity, and improving the overall quality of life for residents.

“We are happy with progress made so far and with this pace, we can achieve Vision 2030. Trucks enroute to other countries can also use our good road infrastructure and this is commendable,” said a Harare resident.

By creating a more efficient and sustainable transportation network, government is laying the foundation for long-term economic prosperity and a better quality of life for the citizenry.

“Congestion, which used to delay traffic is now a thing of the past. The progress is awesome and these kind of projects must be replicated everywhere,” added a resident.

Several roads have been rehabilitated, a gesture expected to catapult the country on a pedestal of economic growth in line with becoming an upper-middle-income society by the year 2030.
