MASHONALAND East province has assured its citizens that they should conduct their business as usual and ignore the planned protests by some malcontents in society.
Speaking at a media briefing in Marondera this Sunday, Mashonaland East Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Advocate Itai Ndudzo who was flanked by members of the provincial Joint Operation Committee assured the public that their security is guaranteed and should therefore conduct their business peacefully.
“As Mashonaland East, the government and its security services would want to assure the business community, schools, and the general public that their security is guaranteed.”
The province is imploring the population at large and different sectors of the economy to continue engaging and operating without hindrances.
The statement comes in the wake of planned illegal protests by some rogue elements this Monday.
