LEGISLATORS from across the country drawn from ZANU PF and CCC are touring Precabe farm in Kwekwe after they requested to visit the enterprise to get an appreciation of the farming prowess of the First Family.
The legislators are being hosted by President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the First Lady, Dr Auxilia Mnangagwa.
Addressing the legislators, President Mnangagwa says it is key for Zimbabwe to be able to feed itself using its resources.
The head of state also said farmers should aspire to produce to their full potential and must be willing to learn from others to improve their operations.
President Mnangagwa said he also borrows from those doing better than him to ensure he keeps up with modern farming trends.
The President thanked the legislators from across the political divide for taking an interest in visiting Precabe.
